Stanwick Lakes, Stanwick, East Northamptonshire.

This image involved a very early start and quite a walk because the lake complex was still closed to cars. However, the early morning walk in the dark was an opportunity to reflect on the beauty of this place and the noise of the birds and other wild life on the nature reserve.
As the sun popped up over the tree line, the lower part of the sky took on that familiar golden glow and the airplane trails scoured the skyline between the blue and the gold perfectly. I was also really pleased to finally capture the Visitors Centre with the sunrise reflected in the iconic buildings windows.
The above image is produced in the regular 4:3 aspect ratio. However it can be cropped to a 2:1 ratio and printed on either A4 or A3 paper, this profile is available in several configurations to meet your needs. This ratio gives a more panoramic feel to the image as can be seen here.
