Glacier Point, Yosemite National Park, California, USA.

We were hoping to a vibrant sunset over Yosemite valley as we headed up to Glacier Point. Despite plenty of company on the rock above the monstrously high cliff, the sun failed to break through the clouds and the anticipated sunset never occurred.
However, in the classic style of Ansell Adams, this lovely black and white image was captured using a long exposure to build the light and to make best use of the flat light available. At least this shot was another that helped me to overcome the fear of standing a few short feet from a cliff edge in breezy conditions.
The above image is produced in the regular 4:3 aspect ratio. However it can be cropped to a 2:1 ratio and printed on either A4 or A3 paper, this profile is available in several configurations to meet your needs. This ratio gives a more panoramic feel to the image as can be seen here.
